Oak Park in Aliso Viejo

Oak Park is located on Boundary Oak and is adjacent to several of our neighborhoods including

Memory Lane, Milano, Talavera, Canterbury and Pacific Grove. It is also just a short distance from Canyon View Elementary.

I love this park because it has lots of trees and little hills and reminds me of an old fashioned park where you can plop down with a blanket or chair and read a book, or people watch.

There is a pretty large tot area, one basketball court and several eating areas and benches to rest at.

Wingspan Park #20 of 21

Wingspan Park is off of Aliso Creek Road in the Pacific Ridge neighborhood. It is in between Westwing and Eastwing.

It is mainly a passive park, with some sport fields (soccer) and portable toilet facilities.

Westridge Park #19 of 21 Parks

This is the park near where I live. I go there a couple of times a day with my dogs. It is mainly a passive park with lots of open space , a very nice tot lot and has great views of the laguna wilderness areas. We sit high on a hill and get some interesting weather patterns up here.

Aliso Viejo Ranch

Here is a cool little spot in our community. It used to be a real ranch area and had animals, an old barn and such. Now the community uses it occasionally for
events. It is located just accross the street from the AV Middle School off of Cedarbrook. There have been talks in the past of it becoming a community center which was voted down by the people. Some people would like to see a passive park with community gardens. I believe it is all up in the air at this time.

Aliso Viejo Community Park #3 of 21

Here is a video of Aliso Viejo Community Park which is off of Cedarbrook and adjacent to the AV Middle School. It has some ball fields, 2 tot lots, lots of trees, dog bag dispensers, bathrooms and a pretty nice sized parking lot. Aliso Viejo prides itself in having a park nearby most any neighborhood you live in and this one is really nice. You just need to time your visit so you are not going in the school traffic which can be a bit busy

Acorn Park in Aliso Viejo 1 of 21 Parks

 One of my goals is to get a video of all the parks in Aliso Viejo. This is Acorn Park.. off of Chase and Sanborn, or Wood Canyon and Sanborn. It is a very pretty park, adjacent to Oak Grove Elementary. Lots of street parking, and you can park in the school lot when it's not in use.

Upper Grand Park

This is the upper area of Grand Park and a great park it is! It has a wonderful path that meanders down into the town center and lots of grass and trees.

The best place to recycle in town.

You can recycle your bottles and cans here just to the left of Ralphs Market in the Aliso Viejo Town Center.
