Fall Events in Aliso Coming UP

Don't miss 4th Annual Taste of Aliso Niguel Saturday

Tickets are available for the 4th Annual Taste of Aliso Niguel High School on Saturday, October 23.

The fun-filled event is from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Summit Office Campus, south of the 101 Enterprise Building in Aliso Viejo. Event proceeds will support the 3,000 students, activities and facilities at Aliso Niguel High School (ANHS).

The Taste of Aliso Niguel High School is an evening of unlimited food tastes from 20-plus local restaurants, drinks, impressive live music from local musicians, and hundreds of silent auction items - perfect gifts for any occasion. The fabulous evening out is designed for adults only (must be 21 years old) to meet and greet old and new friends.

The Allen Family Automotive Group and Renaissance ClubSport are the presenting sponsors. Organizers say ANHS students and families appreciate the support from all the businesses and individuals in the surrounding communities.

For more information, including ticket costs, and to purchase tickets, visit www.tasteofalisoniguel.com. To contribute a sponsorship or silent auction item, e-mail info@tasteofalisoniguel.com or call Mark Heflin at 949-643-9089. People can opt to support the School's General Fund, the Athletic General Fund or a specific Group/Club.

AVCA Fall Harvest Festival Saturday

Make plans for the Aliso Viejo Community Association's Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 23 at Grand Park.

The event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at the park near Aliso Viejo Town Center, will feature family games; pony rides; arts and crafts; balloon twisters; entertainment; and much more.

A costume parade begins at 10:30 a.m., and visitors to the festival are encouraged to wear their spookiest, most animated costumes and walk in the parade.

Along with participating in a host of fun activities, people can also contribute to a good cause by bringing three canned-food items that will be distributed to the needy. Participating in the canned-food drive could also result in winning a prize through an opportunity drawing.

For more information about the Oct. 23 Fall Harvest Festival, call 949-243-7411 or visit www.avca.net.
